Where sound meets story.
From subtle underscores to bold anthems, this is my work for the screen.

Film & TV

I’ve been a freelance composer for Hi-Fi Project, a custom music house specializing in advertising, for the past few years. When I first started as a young songwriter in LA, I was constantly moving through sessions around the city—hustling to find my sound. One Hi-Fi producer resonated with my process, and since then I’ve been on call, consistently contributing to national campaigns.

About “Free Assembly”
When Walmart launched a rebrand of their affordable, modern-style clothing line, they needed sleek music to match. The creative brief? High fashion runway meets alt-pop — something bold, stylish, and unexpected.

I wanted to create a track that felt like freedom—a song that sticks in your head and makes you feel something every time you wear the clothes. I produced multiple demos with that vision in mind, each one crafted to bring out the personality of the collection.

Walmart loved them all—so much so, they licensed each track for different commercial spots. The creative direction behind the visuals really inspired me to push further sonically and lean into my most expressive, fashion-forward production yet.

Associated Bank - Road Trip

Original Music Composition & Vocals by sakharii

About “Road Trip”
This spot was all about 80’s slow dance music. The Agency wanted a song to support this Mom on her long drive with her kids. Something smooth, relaxing and confident. The vocal harmonies I sang on the track really let everything breath while the slow burn bass line and guitars did the rest.

Zales - Celebration Infinite

Original Music Composition & Vocals by sakharii

About the “Celebration Infinite”
This particular opportunity came through Executive Producer Chris Heidman, who’s always loved my work. He sent me the Zales brief with one clear reference: James Blake. That was all I needed. I created a stripped-back ballad with a powerful vocal performance—just enough emotion and restraint to elevate the story.

The full-length version is still airing on national television (30-second spot) and featured on Zales’ official website. The second one is a 15 second rescored version that more positive and upbeat.

About “Role Model”
At this stage in my advertising career, my voice had become almost too familiar to the agency I was working with—I kept winning the spots! So I started leaning into my wider network of vocalists and musicians to expand the sonic palette.

For this particular campaign, which focused on women’s independence and strength, I immediately thought of my friend Rehma, whose voice and message align perfectly with that vision.

The brief called for something “influencer-y” with a modern pop feel—catchy, current, and empowering. I handled the production and creative direction, while Rehma brought the heart. Really proud of how this one came together.

Bushes Baked Beans - Satchels of Joy

Original Music Composition & Vocals by sakharii

About the spot

This was one of my highest-paying and most widely seen commercial placements to date. The spot was synced for both live TV and online use, and it’s been leased by the company for over three years now. It was also used as apart of their whole rebrand as a company.

The brief came in with a fun but oddly specific request: write a bright, upbeat jingle that includes the phrase “beautiful beans.” Silly? Maybe. Memorable? Definitely. I created three unique demos within a few days, responded quickly to feedback, and delivered a final version that hit the tone perfectly.

I layered soft “oohs” and “aahs” for a warm vocal harmony that added lift without overpowering the visuals. It’s a fun feeling to be known as the Bush’s Baked Beans jingle guy.

The Visionary

Short Film by Daniel Mezzilingua

Original Music Composition & Score by sakharii

About “The Visionary”

Scoring to picture is one of my greatest passions. I’ve long studied the emotional depth that legends like Hans Zimmer and John Williams bring to film—how a score becomes the soul beneath the visuals. It doesn’t just support the story; it guides it. It captures an actor’s emotion, sets the tone, and often takes the viewer somewhere deeply personal.

This short film posed a compelling question:
Which life would you choose—the lonely, successful one or the settled, simpler one?
It’s a conversation between two versions of the same person, and it was an honor to score such a thoughtful concept.

I gave each character their own musical theme. But when both appeared on screen together, I layered the motifs to form something new—symbolizing the shared identity and internal conflict. The process was creatively fulfilling and challenged me to write music that could mirror character development in real time.

The Visionary Team is heading to festivals this year. Can’t wait to see where it lands.

ECLIPSE

About “Eclipse”

I’ve been lucky to collaborate with so many amazing creatives in LA, and John (Jack) is truly one of the best. He’s not only an incredible film director but also an editor at the NFL, and together we’ve built some really exciting short-form content.

This is one of those projects starring me that I’m especially proud of. I handled the sound design, and score which is one of my favorite parts of cinematic work—it’s addicting to watch everything come together in the final cut. For this one, we aimed for an ethereal, techno-inspired soundscape with a vibe reminiscent of The Weeknd.
